Maz Jobrani is an Iranian-American with an American passport. That's not always as helpful as he'd like it to be, however, as he explains in this performance last night on Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
Roll it!
When comedians are bald, they'll usually be the first to point that out. In that respect, Maz Jobrani was no different on his appearance this week on Lopez Tonight. But Jobrani was born in Iran, so his mother had some unique solutions to help him grow his hair back. Plus, his wife is from India, and their nanny is from Guatemala. Is that why they called our country the great American melting pot?
I don't know. I just remember that Saturday morning cartoon. Everybody else: Roll the clip!
When an SUV loaded with explosives shut down Times Square on Saturday night, Iranian-American comedian Maz Jobrani was headlining a few blocks north at Carolines on Broadway. He sent out a notice to his Twitter followers early Sunday morning: "1 show left in NY Sun nt. Times Square was closed 2nt near the club b/c of a bomb scare ...wasn't me! I swear!"
After all, Jobrani's tour and recent DVD is called "Brown and Friendly." He managed to joke about the incident at Carolines before his weekend stint was out. Roll the clip!
