Video: John Mayer spoofs his songwriting process

More than a few people on the Internets have a difficult time figuring out one Mr. John Mayer because they see him make fun of celebrity and the tabloid press and the red carpets, and they wonder if he's full of it, or more often, they don't wonder that at all but simply deduce that he must be mocked for even attempting mockery. I've seen him up close (well not that close, but close enough) and have seen him interact with comedians I know and enjoy, and also have seen him go onstage and try his hand at stand-up. So I can see that he really does want to have fun with his fame, even if it must come at his own expense. And that makes him alright by me.
